Pasadena

 

I have lived in Pasadena for more than 40 years. I raised my children in this neighborhood. We appreciate the city's diversity and the range of options for private and public schools. We enjoy the various offerings of this city, such as the farmers' market, the Rose Parade celebration, top restaurants, the Rose Bowl, and The Huntington Library. It’s a beloved city.

With a whopping 125 entries on the National Register of Historic Places located here, Pasadena is one of L.A. County’s most desirable and beloved cities. Notable structures include Greene and Greene’s Gamble House, the Beaux Arts Colorado Street Bridge, Hale Solar Laboratory, Rose Bowl, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory, among others. And there’s no shortage of culture here: the Pasadena Playhouse, Norton Simon Museum of Art, and Pasadena Museum of California Art are all in town. Drive through leafy Bungalow Heaven, a quiet 16-block area, featuring 800 small Craftsman homes built from 1900 to 1930. Then spend time in Old Town, a 21-block historic downtown district, where you’ll find the lively gastropub Union, a Tesla showroom, Everson Royce wine shop, and stylish boutiques.
